Torri is a senior at Arizona State University graduating in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design. She has gained professional experience through her internship at Poore House Graphics and currently serves as the Graphic Designer for Stage One Dance Studio. In addition to her design work, Torri directs the Color Guard at Cookeville High School, where she leads creative direction, choreography, and visual production. When Technology Drinks First
In a world that is becoming increasingly reliant on the internet and AI, the demand for water to cool data centers continues to rise. Every AI question, text message, Google Search, etc. carries a physical cost. Data centers rely on local water supplies from community resources to cool down their systems. The internet may feel invisible, but the infrastructure is not. Without better transparency, stronger policy and more sustainable cooling technology, data centers will continue to strain and deplete local water supplies.
