Violence Against Women
It’s not a secret. It’s a crime.
Violence against women is a global epidemic that spares no woman regardless of age, race, social class or any other discernible demographic. Half of the population should not have to live in fear that they might become a part of an ever growing statistic. 1 in 3 women have been a victim of sexual or physical violence at the hands of a stranger or intimate partner at some point in their lives. It is a frightening reality, but that only means we should shine a brighter light on it and not shy away from discussing it, despite how it can make us uncomfortable.
