Sally is a Graphic Designer based in Illinois near the Chicagoland area who will be graduating with a BSD in Graphic Design in December 2026. She has been a shift supervisor at Starbucks for five years while working on her degree and while she enjoys her job, she’s ready to broaden her horizons. She will complete an internship during this Fall semester. She has been working for over 20 years now in customer service and enjoys helping people throughout her day.

Screen Time
The Impact of Excessive Screentime
As technology has advanced throughout the years, so has our relationship with screens. We went from interacting with maybe two screens a day, for maybe 2-3 hours at a time, maximum. Now we are surrounded by screens all the time, no matter your occupation, hobbies etc. This exhibit is showing the harm of excessive screentime, and helping the audience come up with alternative activities to stimulate their minds and fill their time.
