Natalie is a Graphic Designer based in Las Vegas who will be graduating with a BSD in Graphic Design in May 2025. Censorship in the American Education System
Educational censorship has consistently restricted classroom discussions and removed materials regarding gender, race, and sexuality throughout American history. In the previous school year alone over six thousand book bans were enacted across twenty-three states, and eighty-seven public school districts. Censorship restricts access to diverse ideas, stunts critical thinking, and creates an incomplete, often biased, understanding of history and social issues.
