Kora Winterleaf lives in Seattle, WA with her lovely wife and two pets, a fluffy samoyed and a cuddly calico. She enjoys her free days reading all types of fantasy and sci-fi books with lgbt+ characters in the forefront. Her hobbies include photography, snowboarding, bouldering, and has recently taken up MMA kickboxing.
Post graduation she is looking forward to opening a freelance photography business focused on local events, cosplay portraiture, and all other portraits. Looking to the far future she would love to explore making her own fine art photography exploring emotions through the human condition.

The Faces of Seattle Homeless
Seattle Homeless is a multi-faceted problem spanning many other social issues that can lead to short-term or worse chronic homelessness. The Seattle homeless population faces many unique issues that are based on local geographical, economic, and governing downfalls. The local population and government are making strides to help improve the lives of those struggling, but due to the nature of the living conditions and economic stressors the population continues to grow year over year. There is hope, but not without continued intentional action, support, and empathy for those struggling.
