Factory Farming

What we don’t see is what they endure

Factory farming is a large-scale industrial system that prioritizes profit over animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and public health. Millions of animals, including cows, pigs, and chickens, are packed into overcrowded, filthy conditions where they endure extreme confinement, procedures without pain relief, and a life without natural behaviors. Many never see sunlight or feel fresh air, suffering from stress, disease, and injuries due to neglect. This system not only inflicts immense cruelty but also contributes to pollution, deforestation, and climate change. Ending factory farming is essential for creating a more ethical, sustainable, and healthy food system.
