Brit is a Graphic Design Student graduating Summa Cum Laude in May 2025, based in Seattle, Washington and attending Arizona State through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan as a 6 year Barista Trainer. They are interested in brand design including logos, business systems, menus, and imagery. They started their school career at Mount Union College as a Music Major, and through the years changed degrees 3 times before settling on Graphic Design. In their spare time they enjoy playing video games, finding new spots for photography, and spending time with their significant other.

Is the Land of Plenty Starving?
Everyone knows or has heard of food insecurity but food deserts are less well known. A food desert is when fresh healthy food is not readily available or hard to obtain or get to, it is as much a monetary issue as it is transportation, racial lines, and neighborhoods. With as many as 39 million Americans living in food deserts it is time for attention to be brought to the problem and we learn how to help the individuals affected.
