Deforestation
The Clock is Ticking
Deforestation has caused 15 billion+ trees to be cut down each year around the world. Major factors of this include clearing of forests for beef cattle farms, palm oils production, and logging for infrastructure development. We are seeing major effects to ecosystems and surrounding indigenous communities as a result. The devastation happening to the rainforests will impact us all if we don’t start paying attention. Each time more forest is removed, we are weakening the forces of protection they provide against climate change. With the help of leading exports and the powerful tool of design to gain awareness, we can help encourage others to help stop the continuation of deforestation.
