Gender Pay Inequalities
She Deserves More; Close Gender Pay Gaps
For decades, women in the workforce have experienced a gender bias that results in a clear decline in yearly earnings. On average, they receive 83 cents for every dollar a man makes. Some will earn even less than the average, depending on race, age, social status or physical capabilities. As a result, women have to work harder to secure their finances and retirement plans than men do. Throughout the years, the gap has lessened. There is still so much to be done in order to finally close the gaps that still exist.
