Alexis is a Graphic Designer based in Southern California who will be graduating in the summer of 2026. With a strong foundation in visual communication and branding, he has cultivated both creative and professional skills that distinguish him among his peers. His natural interpersonal abilities have enabled him to build meaningful connections, leading to a local internship in San Diego with Freaner Creatives. There, Alexis continues refining his technical skills while collaborating on client projects. Outside of design, he channels his energy into fitness, regularly spending time at the gym, and into music, mixing behind the decks or curating soundtracks for long drives.

Food Insecurity
Access Denied: Seeking Stability
Food insecurity is a complex social issue that limits families and individuals from accessing affordable and nutritionally adequate food. Barriers such as limited proximity to grocery stores, rising living costs, and transportation challenges disproportionately impact marginalized communities. These external factors contribute to health complications reinforcing a sickly cycle of poor health and poverty. Addressing these disparities requires community investment, policy change, and improved access to affordable, nutrient-dense foods to support overall physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
