Annabelle is a Graphic Designer based in DFW who will be graduating with a BSD in Graphic Design in May 2026. She has completed many freelance opportunities, working with clients to create brand identities and collateral in her local community. She has also completed the Digital Marketing course offered by the Global Career Accelerator program to help understand the why and rationale for design choices and pivots. In her spare time, Annabelle loves reading, gaming, exercising, baking, and spending time with her two dogs. She takes inspiration from retro media and innovation in electronic hardware and UI.

Asian American Hate Following COVID-19
Coming Back Stronger
Asian Americans have faced discrimination ever since they first immigrated to the United States. However, the rhetoric spread by political leaders following the COVID-19 pandemic caused a rise in harassment and aggression directed at the race. More than half of the Asian American community has claimed that they have experienced or know someone who has experienced discrimination during this decade, specifically due to the virus. Passionate leaders took a stand and organized groups to record and express this data, giving the community a voice and inspiring change.
