PTSD

PTSD Among Veterans

PTSD, especially among military veterans, has debilitating consequences that usually leave individuals in a state of isolation. This prevents them from integrating back into society. These issues can not only harm the individual but also their loved ones as they attempt to help, often without having the means or knowledge to do so. There are programs and psychiatric treatments that can help these individuals overcome their trauma. They however, are bogged down by  either having limited resources, inefficient ways to disburse assistance or the lack of awareness. That is why we should lend our help in any way possible. Whether it be donating to said programs, providing voluntary assistance or simply spreading the knowledge and awareness of the resources available to anyone who is in need of them.
