Generative AI – Humanities Downfall? 

Generative AI is quickly consuming every aspect of our lives, it shows up on every app, google search, and even email. While this tool can be used positively, most often it is abused. There are consequences to using generative AI to perform even the most basic of tasks, such as water and electricity consumption, as well as loss of creative thinking and problem solving. When AI is used instead of real people, jobs are lost and the environment becomes negatively impacted. We need to create regulations on AI and its uses, holding AI companies accountable for their actions.
