Light Pollution
The Vanishing Night
Light pollution is one of the fasted growing forms of pollution, yet it remains one of the most misunderstood. By flooding our nights with artificial light, we are systematically dismantling the natural rhythms that have governed life on Earth for billions of years. This excessive glow does more than just hide the stars; it acts as a massive disruptor of global ecosystems. Migratory birds are pulled off course to their deaths, nocturnal pollinators are vanishing, and the circadian rhythm of humans is being suppressed leading to increased risks of chronic illness.
