Ocean Pollution
Ocean Pollution: The Plastic Tide
Ocean pollution is silently reshaping our planet. Marine ecosystems are being filled with plastics, chemicals, and waste, threatening both ocean life and human health. Billions of pounds of trash and other pollutants enter our oceans every year, disrupting food chains, damaging coral reefs, and contributing to long-term environmental decline. Much of the pollution that makes its way to the ocean originates from everyday human activities, making this global issue extremely personal. Through awareness and collective action, meaningful change becomes possible. This includes actions like reducing single-use plastics, supporting sustainable alternatives, and advocating for stronger environmental protections. The future of marine ecosystems depends on how we respond today.
