TransEqual

TransEqual: Transgender Discrimination in Healthcare, Education, and the Workplace.

Transgender people have always existed in every culture and every era, but today, increased visibility has brought both acceptance and backlash. Transgender individuals experience discrimination in many areas of life such as in the workplace, where there are higher rates of workplace harassment, job denial, and firing based solely on gender identity. It is also seen in education as Trans students often face bullying, misgendering, and lack of support. Another area, possibly the most harmful, is healthcare, where many transgender people experience refusal of care or lack access to gender-affirming healthcare. These issues aren’t isolated incidents. They represent systemic patterns that create barriers to safety, opportunity, and dignity. Ultimately, this campaign seeks to inspire viewers to recognize transgender people as valued members of society and take active steps against discrimination.
