Automatic Replacement: Replacing the World with Technology

Automation directly impacts our ability to survive and grow in most of today’s industries by replacing important skills with technology that can replicate those skills. As efficient as this may sound, the replacement can and has proven to have a severe impact on product quality and user experience. As technology improves, so too does our requirement to keep up with said technology. This can put large skill gaps between educated and uneducated individuals when it comes to evolving professions. Giving upper advantages to those who can afford higher education and leaving those who cant afford said education unable to keep up in our growing economy. Over reliance on technology leads to skill loss and our ability to resolve issues also can stagnate as a result.
