Reproductive Rights

Our Bodies. Our Rights.

Reproductive Rights encompass an individual’s ability to make informed choices about their own body and life, supporting their physical, mental and social well-being. Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022, nearly half of U.S. states have placed bans or restrictions on abortion and access to contraception. These restrictions have exposed pregnant individuals to criminal penalties, physical and emotional harm, and even death. Beyond abortion, reproductive rights are further limited through restrictions on medication abortion, cuts to funding for reproductive health providers, withholding critical information, constraints on insurance coverage, and limitation on access to gender-affirming care. Protecting and expanding reproductive rights is essential to ensuring autonomy, health, and equality for all individuals.
